Hanna received her dance education from The JKO School at American Ballet Theatre, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Cincinnati Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet and SLK Ballet in New York City. During her time at SLK Ballet, she was chosen to train at Masters of Ballet Academy (Artistic Director; Elena Glurdjidze) and Central School of Ballet both in London, England as part of SLK Ballet School’s exchange program. Hanna has been dancing professionally with Chevalier Ballet, performing in principal and soloist roles in numerous classical ballets including: Giselle, Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Lead Soloist in Les Sylphides, Bluebird Pas de Deux, Finger Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty. She has also danced in many contemporary and modern works by Sara Knight, Marika Brussel, Clement Mensah and Robin Cantrell including a tour to the UK in Sara Knight's "Beatles Ballet" with live music by tribute band Beatlemania. Hanna’s other performance credits include: Flower Soloist, Marzipan in The Nutcracker and Act 1 Friends, Swans in Swan Lake with Cork City Ballet (Ireland), Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen in The Nutcracker with Long Island Ballet Theatre, Jersey City Ballet, The 36th Annual Battery Dance Festival (New York City), The Queensborough Dance Festival (New York City). In addition to dancing, Hanna works as a Ballet Mistress for Chevalier Ballet, overseeing and running rehearsals and teaching company warm up classes. She is also an experienced ballet teacher is a faculty member at SLK Ballet, the Company’s affiliated school as well as numerous other dance schools in New York City and New Jersey. Hanna has also conducted workshops and performances through Chevalier Ballet's outreach program for hospital patients at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and pre-school to high school students in New York City and in the UK.
