Company Artist

Olivia began her ballet training at the Conservatory of Classical Ballet in San Leandro, CA, studying with Ann Fisher-Ratto. She was a part of their student company, where she performed classical ballets and original choreography and gained teaching experience assisting with pre-ballet classes. After attending her first summer program at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, she realized she wanted to pursue a career in ballet. Afterward, she attended Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB) as a year-round student in the school’s pre-professional division for four years, studying Marcia Dale Weary’s Vaganova-based syllabus. She had the privilege to learn from many acclaimed teachers, such as Rafael Grigorian, Suzanne Smith, Alecia Good-Boresow, Matthew Donnell, Melinda Howe, and Damien Johnson, who all played significant roles in her life accomplishments. At CPYB, she performed in the annual Founder’s Series and George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, along with original choreography by faculty members. She spent her summers studying with CPYB and Oregon Ballet Theater. Olivia is thrilled to start her ballet career as a Trainee with Chevalier Ballet this season.
